BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY Regular Meeting May 9, 2023 10:30 AM Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Lynch at 10:30 A.M. Members Present: Mayor Lynch, Joetta Collins, Jamie Lewis, Stephanie Young-Johnson, and Scott Williams. Also, present was Clerk-Treasurer Rivas and Attorney Dan Whitten. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING: Member Lewis made a motion to approve the April 25, 2023 minutes; Member Williams seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 5 yes – 0 nays UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Sidewalk Waiver – Radavon Markoski Member Williams made a motion to approve the waiver, Member Lewis seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the board. Motion passed. 5 yes – 0 nays Solicitor’s Permit – Kadora Sweet Shop Member made a motion to approve the request, Member seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays NEW BUSINESS: Special Event Request – Tempo Timing, May 21, 2023 Member Williams made a motion to approve the request; Member Collins seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the board. Motion Passed. 4 yes – 0 nays 2023 Crack Sealing and Paving Bids Member made a motion to take the bids/quotes under advisement; Member seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the board. Motion passed. 4 yes - 0 nay Award Sidewalk Ramp Replacement Bids (Brookline/Parkside Drives) Member made a motion to award the bid to _ as the lowest, most responsive bidder; Member seconded the motion.
