AGENDA Regular City Council Meeting City of Post Oak Bend, Texas Date/Time: Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 7:00 pm Location: City Hall – 1175 CR 278 AGENDA ITEMS 1. Call to Order, Pledges of Allegiance 2. Roll Call 3. Citizen Comments: Citizens wishing to address the City Council must sign-in prior to the beginning of the meeting. Three (3) minutes are allowed per speaker on any item related to the City, including items listed on the agenda. Please note: The Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits council members from responding to the speaker regarding items not listed on the agenda. 4. Approval of Minutes – January Regular Meeting 5. City Secretary Update – Councilmember Parker 6. Financial Report for January – Councilmember Parker 7. Presentation to Council by Jerry Frazier and discuss/take action regarding refund of building permit fees possibly charged in error (tabled last month). 8. Discuss and take action if necessary on hiring someone to clean city hall. 9. Discuss and take action if necessary on moving forward with the joint parking lot agreement with New Hope Baptist Church. 10. Discuss and take action if necessary on enforcement of City Ordinance 34A (Trash Collection Franchise Agreements). 11. Discuss and take action if necessary on hiring city Code Inspector. 12. Discuss and take action if necessary on updating city building code ordinance and permitting process.  13. Consider/discuss authorization to issue requests for proposals (RFP) for administrative services and requests for qualifications (RFQs) for engineering services related to the Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) grant programs. 14. Council requests for March agenda. 15. Adjourn This meeting will be conducted pursuant to the Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq. At any time during the meeting, the Council reserves the right to adjourn into executive session on any of the above-posted agenda items in accordance with the sections 551.071 [litigation and certain consultation with attorney], 551.072 [acquisition of interest in real property], 551.073 [contract for gift to City], 551.074 [certain personnel deliberations] or 551.076 [deployment/ implementation of security personnel or devices].
