In accordance with order of the Office of the Governor issued March 16, 2020, the City Council of the City of
Prairie View. Texas will conduct a telephonic meeting in order to advance the public health goal of limiting
face-to-face meetings (also called “social distancing”) to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
This City Council Meeting will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 starting at 6:00 p.m.
The public may participate in this meeting by dialing in to the following number 1-571-317-3116_

Anyone wishing to offer public comments or speak during a public hearing may do so by notifying the
City Staff at least two hours prior to the meeting at citysecretary@prairieviewtexas.gov.
A recording of the telephonic meeting will be made and will be available to the public in accordance with the
Open Meetings Act upon written request.

Attendance by Other Elected or Appointed Officials: It is anticipated that members of other governmental bodies, and/or
city boards, commissions and/or committees may attend the meeting in numbers that may constitute a quorum of the
body, board, commission and/or committee. The members of the boards, commissions and/or committees may be
permitted to participate in discussion on the same items listed on the agenda, which occur at the meeting, but no action
will be taken by such in attendance unless item and action is specifically provided for on an agenda for that body, board,
