CITY OF PRESCOTT, WISCONSIN PARKS AND PUBLIC PROPERTY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES MONDAY, MAY 13, 2019 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the Parks & Public Property Committee was held Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Municipal Building, 800 Borner St. Prescott, WI 54021. Call to order/Roll Call: Alderperson Bailey Ruona called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm. Members present were Galen Seipel and Rob Daugherty. Also present Patrick Beilfuss and Seth Hudson of Cedar Corporation. City Administrator Jayne Brand represented staff. Daugherty/Ruona motion to approve the minutes for March 25 and April 25, 2019 passed without a negative voice vote. Patrick presented a draft copy of the Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan. Patrick asked that committee and city staff review the draft and provide any comments to him by Wednesday, May 22nd. Patrick presented two options for the proposed Riverfront concepts. Option 1 would extend the wall out towards the water to create more green space. This option would have a tiered wall for more water storage but could be cost prohibitive. The total greenspace would be 9,554 square feet. Option 2 will extend the wall out towards the water slightly to create a little more green space and change the parking to create a large greenspace south of the stairs to the courtesy dock. Two parking stall would be lost with this concept. The total greenspace would be 11,315 square feet. The consensus of the committee is to proceed with option 2.
