Discussion Items The City Council has been invited to participate in a joint meeting with the ASWSU Senate. The meeting will be on March 25, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center, 405 SE Spokane St., Pullman, WA. The ASWSU Senate × Pullman City Council Joint Meeting brings together leadership from the Associated Students of Washington State University, including members of the Executive and Legislative branches, and officials from the City of Pullman, including the Mayor and City Council representatives. This meeting provides an opportunity for student government and city leadership to engage in collaborative dialogue, share updates, discuss ongoing initiatives, and explore partnerships that impact both Washington State University students and the broader Pullman community. Topics may include student life, city development projects, safety, transportation, community engagement, and future areas of cooperation. City Council members may bring other topics to the meeting for discussion, such as post-graduate housing supply and City parks/greenspaces. The goal of this meeting is to strengthen communication, alignment, and collaboration between ASWSU leadership and municipal partners while supporting continued progress for students and residents alike. This is a Special Meeting of the City Council. The Public is welcome to attend, however, no official City business will be conducted, and no public comment to the Council will be available.
