Radford City Electoral Board Minutes, April 26, 2018 The Radford City Electoral Board met for the purpose of Officer of Election Training at 6:30 p.m. in the Circuit Courtroom. Chairman Jett called the meeting to order at 6:30 Mr. Jett called for approval of the February 2018 minutes; Mr. Mannon moved approval, Mrs. Turk second, Mr. Jett Yes. The meeting was opened to training and discussion: Tracy Howard lead the training of Officers. Mr. Mannon moved to continue the meeting through May 3rd, Mrs. Turk 2nd, Mr. Jett yes. May, 1, 2018 City Council and School Board local elections: The Electoral board toured the polling places beginning at 6:00a Meeting in the Elections office for returns at 7:00 p. One Wednesday May 2nd the Electoral Board met in the Elections office to canvass the results of the May 1, General election and consider provisional votes. At 9:00a Mr. Mannon moved the Board go into executive session for the purpose of discussion of Provisional ballot(s) acceptance, Mr. Turk 2nd Mr. Jet yes. At 9:10 a.m. Mr. Mannon moved the board return to open session, Mrs. Turk 2nd, Mr. Jett yes. The Provisional ballot found to be valid was cast and counted and added to the totals. The Canvass proceeding through 11:00 when abstracts were attested, and are made a part of these minutes on file in the Elections Office. The General registrar was directed to distribute the Abstracts to the Circuit Court, The City Administration and the State Board of Elections. Mr. Jett moved adjournment at 11:05 a.m., Mr. Mannon 2nd, Mrs. Turk Yes.
