City of Radford Electoral Board Minutes of Public Meeting October 14, 2024 Chairwoman Ann Craig called the October meeting of the City of Radford Electoral Board to order at 3:33 p.m. on October 14, 2024, at 619 2nd Street, Radford, Virginia. Present were Chairwoman Craig, Vice Chairman Chris Quesenberry, and Secretary Carol Colby, as well as General Registrar Lindsey Williams and Chief Deputy Registrar Missy Mayweather. Chairwoman Craig made a motion to require that attendance at one of the upcoming training sessions be mandatory in order for Officers of Election to work the November election. Vice Chairman Quesenberry seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The board discussed that OEs not already assigned to a precinct might be placed where need is greatest on election day. Report of General Registrar Mrs. Williams informed the Board about a number of matters pertaining to the upcoming election, including: - communications with OEs - Central Absentee Precinct assignments and training - details about the upcoming provisional vote meeting - details about the upcoming risk limiting audit - crowd control at the polling places - upcoming logic and accuracy testing - upcoming OE trainings - early voting turnout to date - the schedule of precinct equipment delivery and return The meeting was adjourned at 4:20.
