6. Unfinished Business 1) Master Plan. Planning Commission members 6:10-7:30
agreed to review the Master Plan goals/objectives
outlined in Section VI to identify those of highest
interest/impact to help focus and guide the conduct
of the Technical Review. Goals 1 through 8 have
been reviewed. Review will continue for Goals 9
and 10. List Goals/Subgoals identified for
consideration for prioritization to be placed on PC
Work Plan.
2) Master Plan, Section VIII, Plans, Policies and
Ordinances. Address the "fence" definition as
related to sight lines-- should it be restricted to
properties whose "front side" is a lake side (Section
17.3) or other revision(s)? Planning Commission
members agreed to continue to think about the
issues raised and suggested solutions . . and to keep
the matter as a priority item on the Work Plan.
7. Report: Township Board Board representative-Mike Bekes 7:30-7:40
8. Report: ZBA ZBA met August 4, 2021. The appeal was rejected 7:40-7:45
to reverse the AGS issued Corrective Action
Demand; the appeal was represented by J. Patrick
Lennon representing the Property Located at 2878
Burlington Drive, Ross Township, Parcel #3904-08-
315-090. To state differently, the ZBA upheld the
Corrective Action Demand issued by AGS that the
structure comprised of trees and berm on the Carr
property lake-side yard must be removed and any
fence must comply with the height in the ZO.

conduct himself or herself in such a manner as to respect the point of view of other persons and
encourage appropriate discourse on the matters coming before the Commission.
COMMISSIONERS: Please notify the Township office by 4:30 P.M. on the day of the meeting if
you are unable to attend this meeting. If there is no quorum we will cancel the meeting before
