APPROVED 01/05/2015 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES DECEMBER 15, 2014 THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE RICHMOND CITY COUNCIL WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 7:00 P.M., ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2014, BY MAYOR RIX. Consideration of Establishing a Quarterly Roundtable Meeting Date Motion by Yaroch, seconded by LaFore, to schedule the special quarterly roundtable meeting of the City Council for January 12, 2015, at City Hall, beginning at 5:00 p.m. All yeas Motion passes MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS FROM THE CITY MANAGER - The Police Reserve Christmas Party is scheduled for December 16th at the Recreation Center - The Fire Department Christmas Party is scheduled for December 17th. - Shop with a Cop is scheduled for this Saturday (12/20) - Had a progress meeting at the Police Department – the contractor is moving forward – the project is going well. COUNCIL COMMENTS Yaroch – Briefed Council on a recent event at SEMCOG. The new house transportation bill being proposed is not good for local governments. Greene – Commented on the Great Christmas Parade and the great evening events. Schultz – Informed the Administration that street lights were out on the west side of Main Street from Oak to Division. - Thanked all of the volunteers and City Personnel who helped to make the Christmas Parade so successful. Rix – Reminder of upcoming calendar events: 12/24 – 12/26 – City Hall, Recreation Center and Library will be closed 12/31 – 1/2 - City Hall, Recreation Center and Library will be closed 1/5 – Council meeting at 7:00 pm CLOSED SESSION None.
