APPROVED 11/15/2021 ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING MINUTES NOVEMBER 8, 2021 THE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING OF THE RICHMOND CITY COUNCIL WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:00 P.M., ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2021, BY MAYOR RIX. ROLL CALL Present: Allen, Greene, LaFore, Misteravich, Reindel, Rix, Warn, Absent: None Others: City Manager Moore, City Clerk Stagl Visitors: Lorie Rix ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION 1. Swearing in of the Newly Elected City Council Members Council members Dennis LaFore, Mike Misteravich, Robert Reindel and Tim Rix, elected at the November 2, 2021, General City Election, stood and were administered the Oath of Office by City Clerk Stagl. 2. Selection of Mayor Mayor Rix called for nominations for the Office of Mayor Reindel nominated Tim Rix for the position of Mayor. No further nominations were received. Motion by LaFore, seconded by Allen, to close nominations for the Office of Mayor All yeas Motion passes Councilors marked their ballots and passed them to the Clerk. The votes were read aloud by the Clerk as follows: John Warn voted for Tim Rix Jaime Greene voted for Tim Rix Emily Allen voted for Tim Rix ORG. MEETING: 11/08/2021 Page 1 of 3  APPROVED 11/15/2021 Robert Reindel voted for Tim Rix Tim Rix voted for Tim Rix Mike Misteravich voted for Tim Rix Dennis LaFore voted for Tim Rix By unanimous vote, Tim Rix was elected as Mayor for the 2021-23 Council Term. 3. Administering Oath of Office to the Mayor City Clerk Stagl administered the Oath of Office to the newly elected Mayor – Tim Rix. 4. Selection of Mayor Pro-Tempore Mayor Rix called for nominations for the Office of Mayor Pro-Tempore. Greene nominated Mike Misteravich for the position of Mayor Pro-Tem. No further nominations were received. Motion by Reindel, seconded by Warn, to close nominations for the Office of Mayor Pro-Tempore. All yeas Motion passes Councilors marked their ballots and passed them to the Clerk.
