All yeas Motion passes PUBLIC HEARING None. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION 1. Consideration of Approving the Pay It Forward Banner Request Motion by Allen, seconded by Warn, to approve the request from Kathy Machowski to place the Pay It Forward Banner over Main Street the two weeks leading up to Pay It Forward Day from Thursday, April 14th through Thursday, April 28th, 2022. All yeas Motion passes 2. Consideration of Special Event Request/White Cane Sale/Richmond Lions Club Motion by LaFore, seconded by Misteravich, to approve the request received from the Richmond Lion’s Club to conduct their White Cane Sale, at the intersections of Main/Division and County Line Road/St. Clair Highway (City side) on Friday, April 22nd and Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, further, the Lion’s Club agree not to be in the Main/Division intersection on Friday, April 22nd, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; and further that the Lion’s agree to sign a Liability Waiver. Consideration of Special Event Request/Heritage Festival/Richmond Area Historical & Genealogical Society Motion by Reindel, seconded by Allen, to approve the RAHGS special event request for the Richmond Heritage Festival, in conjunction with Log Cabin Day on Saturday, June 25th from 10am-4pm and Sunday, June 26th from 10am-4pm; along with the closure of Park Street from Stone to Beebe Street and Beebe Street from Pool Drive to Festival Drive for both days. All yeas Motion passes Motion by Reindel, seconded by Warn, to approve the request from RAHGS to have an across the road banner in conjunction with their Heritage Festival to be display Friday, June 17th through Sunday, June 26th, 2022. All yeas Motion passes 4. Consideration of Bid Award/Senior Center Automatic Door Opener Project Motion by LaFore, supported by Misteravich, to award the Senior Center Automatic Door Opener Project to Secure Door in the amount of $3,788.80 with expenses charged to the appropriate line item within the HUD Fund. All yeas Motion passes MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS FROM THE CITY MANAGER - Commended the DPW for their work on snow removal and the water main break last week. COUNCIL COMMENTS Reindel – Thanked the RPOA for the nice event on Saturday. Rix – Reminder of upcoming events: 2/23 – TIFA Meeting at 7:00 pm 2/28 – Taxes Due 3/1 – Recreation Board Meeting at 7:00 pm 3/7 – Council Meeting at 7:00 pm 3/12 – Historic Tea sponsored by the RAHGS 3/20 – 2022 Miss Richmond Pageant at Maniaci’s at 2:00 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Hall walking at Lee School from 6-8 pm – through the end of March Mondays and Wednesdays, Beginners Yoga at the Community Center at 6 pm CCM: 02/21/2022 Page 3 of 4  APPROVED 03/07/2022 CLOSED SESSION None.
