All yeas Motion passes ADOPTION OF AGENDA Motion by Frank, seconded by Kaminski, to adopt the agenda as presented: All yeas Motion passes PUBLIC HEARING None ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION B-1. TXT-01-2023 – CITY OF RICHMOND- Request for a text amendment to Section 6.510 (Package Liquor Stores) to revise the distance separation requirements. The Planning Commission discussed the proposed text amendment to Section 6.510 (Package Liquor Stores) and Section 25.02 (Definitions). Administration reviewed the changes in how the State handles licensing Package Liquor Stores. These changes have pushed administration into recommending the proposed changes specifically how the state licenses gas stations that wish to sell. Rix suggested eliminating the first paragraph under 6.510 as well as the second. Planning Commission directed administration to make the changes and bring them back to the next meeting for a public hearing. MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS FROM THE CITY STAFF PCM: 02/09/2023 Page 2 of 3  APPROVED 03/09/2023 City Manager Moore provided and update on the recent projects and bid awards for Diane Ln., Library ADA doors, Meter bldg. demolition, Barn extension, Alley reconstruction. Moore touched on the status of the parking lot project and indicated it still needs to go before City Council and TIFA. CHAIRMAN AND COMMISSION MEMBERS Frank – Complimented the installation of the new speed radar signs Rix – Inquired of the status of repairs at the Aud in which Moore provided an update. Also discussed the barn project on the Festival property. Kaminski – Questioned any anticipation of installation of charging stations Zink – Reminded commissioners of the MSU Extension training course availability if anyone is interested. There currently is a scholarship opportunity open.
