TAX INCREMENT FINANCE AUTHORITY MINUTES SEPTEMBER 23, 2020 THE MEETING OF THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCE AUTHORITY WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 7:00 P.M., ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2020, BY ACTING CHAIRMAN REINDEL. Present: Ball, LaFore, Reindel, Weinert, Yelencich Absent: Garant, Ruff Others: None APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion by LaFore, seconded by Weinert, to approve the minutes from August 26, 2020, regular meeting as presented. All yeas Motion passes APPROVAL OF BILLS Motion by LaFore, seconded by Yelencich, to approve the payroll expenses for August 14th through September 10th, 2020 in the amount of $2,301.68 All yeas Motion passes Motion by LaFore, seconded by Weinert, to approve the Schedule of bills for August 18th through September 21st, 2020 in the amount of $15,681.51. All yeas Motion passes CORRESPONDENCE Revenue and Expense report for August 2020 City Council Meeting Minutes of August 3, 2020 City Council Meeting Minutes of August 17, 2020 Received and Filed. Page 1|3 TIFA: 09/17/2020 PUBLIC COMMENTS None. ADOPTION OF AGENDA Motion by Ball, seconded by Yelencich, to adopt the Agenda as presented. All yeas Motion passes ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION 1. Consideration of adopting the 2021 TIFA Meeting Schedule Motion by LaFore, seconded by Yelencich, to adopt the 2021 TIFA Meeting Schedule as amended: The November meeting date is changed to Tuesday, November 23rd. All yeas Motion passes 2. Consideration of Election of Chairman and Co-Chairman Motion by LaFore, seconded by Yelencich, to elect the following officers: Bill Ruff – Chairman Rob Reindel – Vice Chairman All yeas Motion passes MISCELLANEOUS MATTER FROM THE DIRECTOR - Working with a contractor to receive a quote on maintenance to the town clock. - Meeting with DTE and the City Engineer regarding the relocation of lights in the City parking lot behind Ken’s - Invitations will be going out to the organizations that passed out candy regarding the trick-or-treat event. - The drive-in movie in the park was very successful. CHAIRMAN AND AUTHORITY MEMBERS Weinert – Informed the Authority that the Historical Society found a headstone for Marvin Heath from 1829. They are trying to determine where the headstone actually belongs.
