Goetzinger Visitors: None APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion by Reindel, supported by Ball to approve the minutes from January 25, 2023, as presented. All yeas Motion passes APPROVAL OF BILLS Motion by Garant, supported by Weinert, to approve the Payroll Expenses for January 6th, 2023 through February 9th, 2023, in the amount of $9,008.59. All yeas Motion passes Motion by LaFore, supported by Ball, to approve the Schedule of Bills for January 17th, 2023 through February 13th, 2023, in the amount of $26,964.84. All yeas Motion passes The Agenda was adopted as presented. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION 1. Consideration of Parking Lot Reconstruction/Sewer Project – Bid Award The project includes replacement of the sanitary sewer main and sewer leads, grease traps to both restaurants, roof drain connections, sidewalk, curb islands, landscaping, dumpster enclosures, and a new asphalt pavement section. The sewer fund will pay for the sewer main, sewer leads up to the building and two (2) grease traps. TIFA will fund the remainder. The project was advertised and four (4) bids were received. Murray Underground was the low bidder. They have performed work for other local municipalities and the references were contacted and all were very favorable. Motion by Reindel, supported by LaFore, to award the Parking Lot Reconstruction portion of the project to Murray Underground in the amount of $459,695 with expenses charged to the appropriate line item in the TIFA fund. Discussion on Motion: The work will begin at the manhole at the south end of the project and work its way north to PNC. Moore provided the board with a copy of the Grading Easement document that will be distributed to the local business affected by the project. These same businesses will be encouraged to continue the update of the sewer line into their establishment (at their own expense). Questions arose regarding the lighting in the parking lot. Moore indicated that the two (2) poles being installed will have two (2) light fixtures and are similar to what is installed in the municipal parking lot. They are fearful that many “extra” expenses will be charged. Goetzinger assured the TIFA board that he has spoken with the contractor, has received submittals and they have provided copies of insurance. References have been verified and is confident with awarding the bid to Murray Underground. All yeas Motion passes MISCELLANEOUS MATTER FROM THE DIRECTOR The AUD is near completion. The windows and scoreboard have been installed and the basement walls painted. Cleaning and the wall pads need to be installed but should be finished shortly. The Grand Re-Opening is scheduled for Friday, March 24th from 7pm -10pm. Invitations will be sent and light refreshments will be served. Moore met with the Recreation Board to discuss guidelines for the rental fee schedule and developing training guidelines for volunteers, etc. CHAIRMAN AND AUTHORITY MEMBERS Reindel extended appreciation to DPW Director Goetzinger for the work he has done to streamline the projects’ progression.
