INUTES RICHWOOD CHARTER REVIEW COMMISSION Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 6:00 PM BE IT KNOWN that the City of Richwood Charter Review Commission will hold a Regular Board meeting on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 6:00 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N., Richwood, Texas 77531 with the following agenda: I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. II. ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS Present: Mark Guthrie, Chair Amanda Reynolds, Vice Chair Lauren LaCount Kimberly Mayer Leslie Klug Others present: Kirsten Garcia, City Secretary III. PUBLIC COMMENTS There was no public comment. IV. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS A. Review, discussion and possible action on Articles 1 through 11 of the Richwood City Charter. Motion to amend section 11.12 (B) to read may to shall. Motion made by Lauren LaCount, Seconded by Amanda Reynolds. With all members present voting aye, the motion carried. Motion to have codification editor correct any grammatical errors. Motion made by Mark Guthrie, Seconded by Kimberly Mayer. With all members present voting aye, the motion carried. Motion to change section 7.02 initiative to lower the requirement of qualified voters from 20 percent to 10 percent. Motion made by Lauren LaCount, Seconded by Leslie Klug. With all members present voting aye, the motion carried. V. REPORTS No report. VI. SET NEXT MEETING DATE Will meet again to present to Council. VII. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS No items. VIII.
