RICHWOOD CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD
MEETING
Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 6:00 PM
BE IT KNOWN THAT a City of Richwood Crime Control and Prevention District Board will meet Weekday, Month
DD, 20YY, beginning at 6:00 PM at Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N., Richwood, Texas 77531
with the following agenda:
I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:13 p.m.
II. ROLL CALL OF BOARD MEMBERS

III. PUBLIC COMMENTS
There was no public comment.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. Regular meeting held April 27, 2023.
Motion to approve.
Motion made by Lauren LaCount, Seconded by Leslie Klug.
Voting Yea: Randy Day, Lauren LaCount, Leslie Klug, William Yearsin
V. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS
A. Public hearing and action on Proposed FY 2024 CCPD Budget.
Chief presented.
Discussion was held on the possibility of a mid-year budget adjustment.
Discussion held on vehicles.
Discussion held on expenses for the server.
Discussion was held on uniform and equipment replacement for officers.
Motion to approve FY 2024 CCPD Budget.
Motion made by Lauren LaCount, Seconded by William Yearsin.
Voting Yea: Randy Day, Lauren LaCount, Leslie Klug, William Yearsin
B. Discussion regarding All America Night funded by CCPD.
Chief presented information regarding All America Night.
C. Discuss and consider recent crime control overtime efforts funded by CCPD.
Discussion held on budget money remaining.
Discussion held on time of year and crime rate.
Discussion was held on focusing on overtime during the upcoming holidays.
Discussions were held on ways to limit crime in the apartment complex.

October 19, 2023

Follow up e-citation system/radar/confirmation year-end review / hard drive.
