The Crime Control and Prevention District Board called Meeting of
January 28, 2021
BE IT KNOWN THAT, a Crime Control and Prevention District Board of City of Richwood was
held January 28, 2021, beginning at 6:00 PM PM in the Richwood City Hall, located at 1800
Brazosport Blvd. N, Richwood, Texas 77531.
I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.
II. SWEAR IN NEW MEMBERS AND ORGANIZE THE BOARD
A. Swear in Leslie Klug
Kirsten Garcia, swore Leslie Klug in.
B. Appoint Chairman of the Board
Buster
Motion to nominate Randy Day as Chairman. This motion, made by Buster Primm and
seconded by Lauren LaCount, Passed.
Yea: 6, Nay: 0
C. Appoint Vice-Chairman of the Board
Motion to nominated Buster. This motion, made by Lauren LaCount and seconded by
Buster Primm, Passed.

There were no public comments.
V. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS
A. Review of FY 20-21 Budget and Financials

Chief Mayer presented financials and budget update.
Discussion held on vehicle purchasing.
B. Discuss future police department equipment needs .
Discussion held on vehicles and code enforcement.
C. Update on case clearance rates.
No report.
VI. REPORTS
Lauren reported issues that came up during Charter Review that CCPD could possibly assist
in. She added that CCPD could also release reports regarding case clearance status to the
public.
