Minutes of the Keep Richwood Beautiful Commission The Keep Richwood Beautiful Commission called Meeting of February 2, 2021 BE IT KNOWN THAT, a Keep Richwood Beautiful Commission of City of Richwood was held February 2, 2021, beginning at 6:00 PM PM in the Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N, Richwood, Texas 77531. I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. II. ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS Brittany Figaro: Absent Sonia Foger: Present Janet Jackson-Ellis: Present Audrey Johnson: Present Tara Riley: Present Becky Thompson: Present Lindsie Yearsin: Present Also present: Kimberly Mayer, Executive Director; Kirsten Garcia, City Secretary III. ORGANIZE THE BOARD A. Appoint Chairman Motion to appoint Brittany Figaro for Chairman. This motion, made by Janet Jackson- Ellis and seconded by Sonia Foger, Passed. Yea: 6, Nay: 0 B. Appoint Vice Chairman Motion to appoint Lindsie Yearsin as Vice Chairman. This motion, made by Audrey Johnson and seconded by Janet Jackson-Ellis, Passed. Yea: 6, Nay: 0 C. Appoint Treasurer Motion to appoint Audrey Johnson as Treasurer. This motion, made by Janet Jackson- Ellis and seconded by Becky Thompson, Passed. Yea: 6, Nay: 0 D. Appoint Secretary Motion to appoint Sonia Foger as Secretary. This motion, made by Audrey Johnson and seconded by Lindsie Yearsin, Passed. Yea: 6, Nay: 0 1 IV. PUBLIC COMMENTS There were no public comments. V. CONSENT AGENDA A. Approval of Minutes 1. Regular meeting held January 5, 2021. Motion to approve the minutes. This motion, made by Janet Jackson-Ellis and seconded by Audrey Johnson, Passed. VI. UPCOMING EVENTS A. Great American Clean Up Kimberly reported that we can do clean ups in small groups and that the comittee needs to set a date. March 13, 2021 from 10a-12p B. Easter Kimberly stated that the committee needs to set a date for drive through Easter. Set for March 27, 2021 10a-12p while supplies last at City Hall 10,000 eggs at 2 dozen eggs per car. C. Servolution - February 28, 2021. Kimberly stated that 4-8 volunteers will help turn over dirt in the raised beds and move dirt to beds that are low if time allows possibly plant veggies, members arrive at 9am. VII. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS A. Discussion and possible action on closing Keep Richwood Beautiful Checking account and transferring funds to the City of Richwood's Pooled Cash Accounts. Kimberly presented information. Motion to close account at Brazos National Bank and move money to pooled cash. This motion, made by Janet Jackson-Ellis and seconded by Tara Riley, Passed. Yea: 6, Nay: 0 B. Discussion on Governor's Community Achievement Award application. Kimberly presented update. C. Discuss when to place flags for President's Day Date set: February 12 at 1:30 take down 16 at 1:30 VIII. FINANCIAL REPORT Kimberly gave report. 2  IX. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT Kimberly reported information on scenic city and future training opportunities. X. ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST Nothing reported. XI.
