Minutes of the Crime Control and Prevention District Board The Crime Control and Prevention District Board called Meeting of April 29, 2021 BE IT KNOWN THAT, a Crime Control and Prevention District Board of City of Richwood was held April 29, 2021, beginning at 6:00 PM PM in the Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N, Richwood, Texas 77531. I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. II. ROLL CALL OF BOARD MEMBERS Randy Day, chairman: Present Leslie Klug: Present Lauren LaCount: Absent Buster Primm: Present Katherine Venegas: Absent Kathy Vickers: Absent Also present: Stephen Mayer, Chief of Police; Kirsten Garcia, City Secretary III. PUBLIC COMMENTS There were no public comments. IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. Meeting held January 28, 2021 Motion to approve the minutes from January 28, 2021. This motion, made by Buster Primm and seconded by Leslie Klug, Passed. Yea: 3, Nay: 0 V. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS A. Review of FY 2020-2021 financials Chief Mayer reported financial status. Discussion held on fund balance and current sales tax revenue. Discussion held on fleet status and costs. B. Workshop and action - Budget Recommendations for FY 2021-2022 1  Chief presented budget recommendations: Training $5,000 Uniforms $2,500 Comm Outreach $10,000 Motor Veh $120,000 Motion to accept reccomendations of FY 21 budget. This motion, made by Buster Primm and seconded by Leslie Klug, Passed. Yea: 3, Nay: 0 VI. REPORTS No report. VII. SET NEXT MEETING DATE June 10, 2021 VIII. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS No future agenda items.
