City Council Special Meeting

Special City Council Meeting March 19, 2020 A special Riverdale City Council meeting of March 19, 2020 was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mayor Skuza. Present: Ken Skuza, Jerry Orth, Garth Zimbelman, Dick Cheatley, Jonna Taylor and Auditor Del Kolke Due to COVID-19, the mayor has mandated City of Riverdale buildings closed to walk-in traffic with auditor’s office, city shop and water treatment facility locked. All business is to be conducted by telephone or email. Council discussed additional precautions and suspended all public gatherings at the Riverdale Coffee Shop indefinitely. Advanced Engineering is able to provide technical support to ensure continued operation of the water treatment facility if necessary and Morning Star Campground is expected to open as scheduled this season. Orth moved to work with residents on their utility bills due to hardships they may incur during the pandemic. Cheatley seconded. Motion carried. Businesses will address their response to COVID-19 individually and abide by any requirements imposed upon them. Meeting adjourned at 6:35 PM.
