MISSION STATEMENT
The City of Riverside Public Utilities Department is committed to the highest quality
water and electric services at the lowest possible rates to benefit the community
The City of Riverside wishes to make all of its public meetings accessible to the public.

That the Board of Public Utilities approve the estimated operational expenditure in
the amount of $77,063.90 for Work Order No. 1409648.

ORDER FOR A MOBILE DC BATTERY SYSTEM
That the Board of Public Utilities:
1. Approve Work Order No. 1411791 in the amount of $171,969; and
2. Approve a Purchase Order in the amount of $116,390.52 to Hindle Power Inc.,
of Easton, Pennsylvania, for a mobile DC Battery system.

DISCUSSION CALENDAR
5 CONSTRUCTION OF THE RIVERSIDE CANAL REPAIR PROJECT PHASE I –
AWARD OF BID NO. RPU-7180
That the Board of Public Utilities:
1. Approve the capital expenditure of $724,055 for Work Order No. 1323231,
which includes all design, construction, change order contingencies, construction
management, inspection and geotechnical testing for the Riverside Canal Repair
Project- Phase I, Bid No. RPU-7180;
2. Determine that the bid submitted by Southwest General Engineering, of
Riverside, California in the amount of $354,450 is non-responsive; and
3. Award a contract for the construction of the Riverside Canal Repair - Phase I to
the lowest responsive bidder, Hemet Manufacturing Co. Inc, dba Genesis
Construction, of Hemet, California, in the amount of $512,777.

1. Approve the capital expenditure of $876,000 for Work Order No. 1320071,
which includes all design, construction, contract administration, inspection and
construction contingency costs for the San Bernardino Transmission Pipeline
Appurtenance Replacement Project – Phase I, Bid No. RPU-7211; and
2. Award a contract for the construction of the San Bernardino Transmission
Pipeline Appurtenance Replacement Project – Phase I, Bid No. RPU-7211 to the
lowest responsive bidder, Trautwein Construction, of Riverside, California, in the
amount of $657,776.

That the Board of Public Utilities:
1. Approve the capital expenditure of $535,000 for Work Order No. 1227664,
which includes all design, construction, contract administration, inspection and
construction contingency costs for the Water Transmission Main Valve
Replacement Project – Phase III, Bid No. RPU-7212; and
2. Award a contract for the construction of the Water Transmission Main Valve
Replacement Project – Phase III, Bid No. RPU-7212 to the lowest responsive
bidder, Trautwein Construction, of Riverside, California, in the amount of
$368,056.
