We study local senior issues to learn about current programs, define future needs, and reference best practices. We then make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on ways we think the City of Riverside can maintain and improve its status as a Senior-Friendly Community. Speaker cards will be accepted until conclusion of Oral Communications from the Audience. In accordance with the Public Records Act, any information you provide on this form is available to the public. COMMISSIONER COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT CALENDAR All matters listed under Consent Calendar are considered routine by the Commission on Aging and may be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless, before the Commission of Aging votes on the motion to approve the recommendations, Commissioners, staff, or public request specific items to be removed from the Consent Calendar for separate action. Removed consent items will be discussed separately. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2 Meeting Minutes for October 10, 2017 Attachments: Commission on Aging Minutes - 10-10-17 DISCUSSION ITEMS 3 Boat Float Debrief - Commissioners to provide feedback on the Boat Float event, capture lessons learned and identify any tasks needed to close out the event for 2017. 4 Senior Day Planning - Formation of Ad Hoc Committee to begin planning of Senior Day event for 2018.
