Oral communications from the audience relating to any of the agenda items are limited to
three minutes, and you will be asked to state your name and city of residence.
Cultural Heritage Board action on all items may be appealed to the City Council within ten
calendar days after the decision. Contact the Planning Division for further information.

2 PLANNING CASE P17-0807: Certificate of Appropriateness request by Kathy
Allavie to replace the existing wood shake roof with compatible composite shingle
roofing at a single family residence (James M. Wood House, City Landmark #89),
located at 2490 Prince Albert Drive, in the RC-CR – Residential Conservation and
Cultural Resources Overlay Zones, in Ward 2. It is recommended that the Cultural
Heritage Board determine the proposal is categorically exempt from California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review pursuant to Section 15331, because the
project is consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment

entry enclosure wall on the front façade at the Santa Fe Depot (City Landmark #10),
located at 3750 Santa Fe Street, at the southeast corner of Santa Fe Street and
Mission Inn Avenue, in the CR-SP-CR – Commercial Retail with Marketplace
Specific Plan and Cultural Resources Overlay Zones, in Ward 2. It is
recommended that the Cultural Heritage Board determine the proposal is
categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review
pursuant to Section 15331, because the project is consistent with the Secretary of

Adame, of the Riverside Unified School District to install a new fence at Grant
School (City Landmark #38), located at 4011 Fourteenth Street, visible at the
northeast corner of Fourteenth Street and Brockton Avenue, in the DSP-AS-CR –
Downtown Specific Plan – Almond District and Cultural Resources Overlay Zones,
in Ward 1. It is recommended that the Cultural Heritage Board determine the
proposal is categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
review pursuant to Section 15301, because the project constitutes a minor alteration
