MISSION STATEMENT
"The Community Police Review Commission was created in order to promote public
confidence in the professionalism and accountability of the sworn staff of the Riverside
Police Department."
Pursuant to Government code section 54954.2 the Community Police Review
Commission will conduct a meeting at the above time and place for the purpose of
transacting or discussing business as identified on this agenda.
PLEASE NOTE:
The scheduled hearing times are approximate. No item will be heard before its
scheduled time but may be heard later in the meeting.

2 2018 Officer Elections
CPRC Officer Elections for Chair and Vice-Chair will take place during the March
2018 meeting. Commissioners can inform the Commission of their interest or can
nominate a fellow Commissioner during the March meeting. During this meeting, the
candidates may speak about their qualifications for the office they are seeking.
When the discussion is complete, the Senior Administrative Assistant will call for the
vote for Chair and Vice-Chair. Nominees receiving the majority affirmative vote will
be elected.

This is an opportunity for members of the public to address the Commission on
closed session items.

PLEASE NOTE:
Any person wishing to speak on an agenda item must file this form prior to the beginning
of the meeting or the time that the item is called for discussion.
Public Comment will take place after the introduction of each agenda item. The speaker
may choose to address the Commission either before OR after discussion by
Commissioners, but may only speak one time on any agenda item. The speaker must
check the appropriate box on the “Request to Speak” form, specifying if they wish to
speak before or after discussion of an agenda item. The same rules apply to
presentations by guest speakers and / or a training course for Commissioners. Any
questions posed by members of the public during public comment may be asked of the
presenter only by the Commission Chair during Commission discussion.
Five (5) minutes per speaker may be allocated family members or their spokesperson
speaking regarding an officer-involved death.
Three (3) minutes per speaker may be allocated for all other public comment.
