Pursuant to Government code section 54954.2 the Community Police Review Commission will conduct a meeting at the above time and place for the purpose of transacting or discussing business as identified on this agenda. PLEASE NOTE: The scheduled hearing times are approximate. No item will be heard before its scheduled time but may be heard later in the meeting. 2:00 PM - CASE REVIEW 1 Roll Call 2 Annual CPRC Officer Elections Elections for the CPRC Chair and Vice-Chair will take place during the first meeting in March. Due to no action taken in March for CPRC Chair, a vote will occur at April's Commission meeting. Nominee receiving the majority affirmative vote will be elected. The Brown Act prohibits members of a board or commission from using e-mail to discuss, deliberate or otherwise address any issue within the subject matter jurisdiction of the body. It is legally irrelevant whether or not a collective concurrence is reached outside of a properly noticed meeting. The mere act of e-mailing a quorum in an attempt to influence is a violation of the law. 3 Public Comments This is an opportunity for members of the public to address the Commission on closed session items. Public Comment will take place after the introduction of each agenda item. The speaker may choose to address the Commission either before OR after discussion by Commissioners, but may only speak one time on any agenda item.
