MISSION STATEMENTS
The City of Riverside is committed to providing high quality municipal services to
ensure a safe, inclusive, and livable community.
The Community Police Review Commission was created in order to promote public
confidence in the professionalism and accountability of the sworn staff of the
Riverside Police Department.
PLEASE NOTE--The numerical order of items on this agenda is for convenience of
reference. Items may be taken out of order upon request of the Chair or Members of the
Commission.
State law and the City of Riverside Municipal Code Sunshine Ordinance (Section
4.05.050) restricts the Community Police Review Commission from taking action on an
item unless it has been included on an agenda and posted at least 12 days in advance of
a meeting or unless the matter falls within one of the narrow exceptions. Consequently,
any item not listed on this agenda will normally have to be delayed until the item can be
made part of a posted agenda.
SPEAKER CARDS--If you wish to address the Community Police Review Commission,
please complete and submit a speaker card to the Secretary. Speaker cards can be
found at the east entrance to the Art Pick Council Chamber and City Hall lobby. Speaker
cards will be accepted until conclusion of public comment on the agenda item. In
accordance with the Public Records Act, any information you provide on this form is
available to the public.
LISTENING ASSISTIVE DEVICES are available for the hearing impaired -- Please see
the Secretary of the Commission. The City of Riverside wishes to make all of its public
meetings accessible to the public. Upon request, this agenda will be made available in
appropriate alternative formats to persons with disabilities, as required by 42 U.S.C.
§12132 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Any person with a disability who

PUBLIC COMMENT
1 This is the portion of the meeting specifically set aside to invite your comments
regarding Closed Session items and any matters within the jurisdiction of the
Community Police Review Commission. Three (3) minutes per speaker is allocated
for all general public comment. Five (5) minutes per speaker is allocated for
complainants and to family members or their spokesperson speaking regarding an
officer involved death. You may be asked to state your name and city of residence.
Please complete and submit a speaker card to the Secretary of the Commission.
