Adam Hughes described some of the concerns with addressing and identifying locations on the property. He noted that when asked, tenants only described their location as 20 Spaulding Avenue even though the building is multiple levels, has about 200,000sqft of floor area and is difficult to navigate. The tenant businesses have had difficulty with getting mail delivered because the property owner assigned sub- addresses that the Post Office does not recognize as valid addresses. Gina Golden-Silvestro recently walked the building with Adam Hughes to get a better sense of the layout and tenant use. Keri Devine, Gina Golden-Silvestro and Adam Hughes discussed how entrances and units are currently flagged in their respective department programs. Gina Golden-Silvestro reported that she is reviewing options for improving location identification and will report back to the Committee. Gina Golden-Silvestro confirmed that the multi-family building is addressed as 5 Highland Street and has 4-units with appropriate sub-addresses.
