1. Call To Order
The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills met in person on the above date at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Dieringer
presiding.

Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Black, seconded by Councilmember Pieper to approve the order of the agenda.
Motion carried unanimously with the following vote:

Motion by Councilmember Pieper, seconded by Councilmember Wilson to receive and file. Motion carried
unanimously with the following vote:

13. Matters From the City Council
Mayor Dieringer discussed her opposition, on behalf of the City Council, during the recent Board of
Supervisor’s vote regarding a five-year ½ cent sales tax increase measure.
13.A. Receive and file an update on the South Bay Cities Council of Governments annual
membership dues
Presentation by Assistant to the City Manager / City Clerk Horvath
The City Council directed staff to prepare an analysis on the value the City receives from participation in
South Bay Cities Council of Governments as related to the annual membership fee, communicate what joint
programs are required for the City to utilize, and what the repercussions would be should the City withdraw.
Motion by Councilmember Pieper, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Black to receive and file. Motion carried
unanimously with the following vote:

Calendar. The Mayor or any Councilmember may request that any Consent Calendar item(s) be removed, discussed, and
acted upon separately. Items removed from the Consent Calendar will be taken up under the "Excluded Consent Calendar"
section below. Those items remaining on the Consent Calendar will be approved in one motion. The Mayor will call on anyone
wishing to address the City Council on any Consent Calendar item on the agenda, which has not been pulled by
Councilmembers for discussion.
