Text Amendment and Special Use – Image Media A public hearing on the application of Image Media for: (1) a text amendment to the Village’s G, “Governmental and Institutional Zoning District” to provide for a Special Use for billboard-type advertising signs located within 660 feet of a right-of-way of an interstate highway, as defined in the Illinois Advertising Control Act of 1971, which advertises products, activities, or services that are not conducted on the premises where the sign is located; and (2) a special use to allow a billboard type advertising sign to be constructed and maintained in the G Zoning District. The property that is the subject of these requests is the Village of Rosemont’s Fire Station 1 Property located at 5800 N. River Road, Rosemont, IL. 60018; PIN 12-03-305-031-0000. 1.
