Minutes of the Cemetery Board Meeting Tuesday, September 17, 2019 REGULAR MEETING 4:00 P.M Committee Member Present: Jack Ferguson, President Jim Bloodhart, Vice President Jeremy Hurley, Secretary Danny Fulkerson, Member Jason Perry, Member (participating by telephone) Juan Oropesa, Liaison Staff Present: Ruben Esquivel, Cemetery Superintendent Daisy Diaz, Administrative Assistant Call to Order President, Jack Ferguson, called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m. Committee members present Hurley, Bloodhart, Fulkerson, Perry (via telephone) and Oropesa. Approval of Agenda Mr. Bloodhart moved to approve the agenda as presented. Mr. Hurley was the second. A voice vote was unanimous and the motion carried, the September 17, 2019 agenda was approved. Approval of Minutes Mr. Perry made a motion, seconded by Mr. Hurley to approve the minutes of the July 16, 2019 meeting. A voice vote was unanimous and the motion carried. Non-Action Items 3. Sexton’s Report- Superintendent Ruben Esquivel reported a total of 33 burials for July, and 32 for August. As of September 17, 2019 a total of 9 burial services had been held at South Park Cemetery and General Douglas McBride Veteran’s Cemetery with 6 pending for the week. 4. Bookkeeper’s Report- Mrs. Diaz reported 4 lot sales, 1 transfer of property, and 1 payoff for July. For August 2 transfers of property, and 1 lot sale. As of September 17, 2019 one new contract and 1 lot sale. Mr. Perry requested to get information on the Perpetual Care fund.
