Roswell Commission on Aging Minutes July 20, 2017 Senior Circle Call to Order: In the absence of Chair Bob McCrea, Commissioner Lynne Ybarra called the meeting to order at 3 p.m. Roll Call: A quorum was not established. Members Present: Lynne Ybarra Bonnie Montgomery Renee Swickard Action Item: Lynne Ybarra stated that the Commission did not have a quorum; therefore, the election would be deferred. Senior Forum: The date is pending. Once confirmed, the date will be publicized in the Roswell Daily Record. Chaves County JOY Center: In the absence of Monica Duran, Bonnie Montgomery reported that residents at Brookdale County Club are often denied transportation services. Community comments:  Several guests voiced concern over inadequate service by Pecos Trails transportation service.  One guest inquired about infectious disease outbreaks at a local nursing home. Lynne Ybarra will investigate and give a report at the next meeting.
