Board Member Daniel, called meeting to order at 12:07 p.m.

Established there was no quorum.
Members Present: Donna Daniel and Marie Manning (both via Go-To Meeting)
Members Absent: Matt Pacheco and Megan Cederberg
Staff present: Kathy Lay
Guests present : Mayor Tim Jennings in person, with Melissa Urias and Rita Kane-
Doerhoffer via Go-To Meeting.

A. Call To Order
Board Vice Chair Megan Cederberg called meeting to order at 12:07 p.m.
B. Roll Call
The following were present:
Members Present: Donna Daniel and Marie Manning via GoTo Meeting, and Megan
Cederberg in person.
Members Absent: Matt Pacheco
Staff: Kathy Lay
Guests: Rita Kane-Doerhoefer via GoTo Meeting
C. Approval of Agenda
Member Daniel made a motion to approve the agenda for the June 27, 2022, KRB meeting,
Member Manning was the second.
A voice vote was unanimous and the motion passed with Chair Pacheco absent
D. Approval of Minutes
Member Daniel made a motion to approve the minutes of the April 25, and May 23, 2022
meetings, Member Manning was the second.
A voice vote was unanimous and the motion passed with Chair Pacheco absent.
E. Non-Action Items
2. KRB Board update.
Kathy Lay reported is still one board position open. There have been those who said they
are interested.
F. Information Items
3. Community Mural at Roswell Museum.
Kathy Lay informed the board that the mural has been completed
4. Empowering Youth Fundraiser Cleanup update.
Kathy Lay informed the board that the fourteen grant funded cleanups have been
completed and a total of 217 youth with 56 adults assisting cleaned up 95,279 lbs. of trash.
5. FY22 & FY 23 grant updates.
Kathy Lay reported that the grant reports for FY22 is submitted.
Litter prevention campaign for FY22 was very successful with news reporting nation-wide
and as far as Uganda.
All required Keep America Beautiful reports have been submitted.
No news yet about award for application for FY23.

H. Adjourn
Member Daniel made a motion to adjourn, Member Manning was the seconded.
A voice vote was unanimous and the motion passed.
