Call To Order Board Member Manning called meeting to order at 12:12 p.m. B. Roll Call Members Present: Marie Manning, Donna Daniel and Melissa Urias participating via GoToMeeting. Members Absent: Megan Cederberg, Susan Noyes Staff Present: Kathy Lay C. Approval of Agenda and Minutes 1. Member Manning motioned to approve the agenda for the March 25, 2024 KRB Board meeting. Member Daniel was the second. Vote: 3-0 motion passed with Members Manning, Daniel and Urias participating via GoToMeeting and Members Cederberg and Noyes being absent. 2. Member Manning motioned to approve the minutes for the February 26, 2024 KRB Board meeting. Member Daniel was the second. Vote: 3-0 motion passed with Members Manning, Daniel, and Urias participating via GoToMeeting and Member Cederberg and Noyes being absent. D. Chair Comments, Reports, Announcements 3. Update on KRB Board approval and term length/limits Ms. Lay reported the resolution to extend board term limits to four years and remove limit for consecutive board terms passed. Adopted resolution also changes board to appointment by Mayor with no requirement for City Council approval. Ms. Lay also noted that the four recent applications for Board positions were approved by the Mayor. 4. Update on FY24 KRB grant projects – Ms. Lay reported the status of the grant funded projects. 5. Report on FY25 Clean and Beautiful Grant application – Ms. Lay reported that FY25 grant application for the New Mexico Tourism Clean and Beautiful grant has been completed and submitted. Ms. Lay gave brief review of grant goals. 6. Arbor Day - Ms. Lay shared details of Arbor Day event and need for volunteers. E. Public Comments – Member Manning asked about use of the Clean and Beautiful To-Go Cart trailer for a cleanup. Member Daniel stated she would be unexpectedly moving out of state which will require her to resign from the KRB Board. Member Manning noted she knows an individual who is interested in serving on the KRB Board. F. Adjourn Meeting adjourned at 12:29 p.m.
