Pecos Valley Regional Communications Center Board of Directors Minutes Held in the Chaves County Administration Building Wednesday, August 03, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. The meeting convened at 1330 hrs. with Phil Smith presiding and Monte Baker, Devin Graham, Stan Riggs and Dennis Kintigh present. Members absent were Jonathon Phillips and Brit Snyder. Others attending were Karen Sanders, Mike Mathews, Ashley Armijo, Angelo Gurule, Daniel Ornelas, Shane Baker, Jason Sweatfield, Alison Herring, Lisa Dunlap and Tracy Laney. A motion to approve the agenda was made by Devin Graham and seconded by Monte Baker a voice vote was unanimous and the motion passed. A motion to approve the minutes from 5.16.2016 was made by Devin Graham and seconded by Monte Baker a voice vote was unanimous and the motion passed. Staffing Report Tracy Laney stated that there had been no changes since the last meeting. There were still three in training and one vacancy, for a total staffing of 21. Emergency Notification System Karen Sanders Stated that the new civic plus website will roll out August 15th, the Civic Ready will roll out at that time also. The county is supposed to add a Widget to their website also. It will be a soft roll out to make sure everything works before advertising to the public. Digital Radio Project Ashley Armijo stated that all of the equipment ordered has arrived and now we need to get the frequency lists for all the Agencies together so that the code plugs can be made. Tracy Laney stated that the order consisted of 11 Repeaters, 340 Mobile Radios and 475 Portable Radios. The radios have to be accounted for and put the homeland security stickers on each one, before they can be issued to each agency. We also need to apply for the Digital Licensing on each of the Frequencies that are going digital. Announcement Next Meeting 9-7-2016 at 1:30 pm.
