Pecos Valley Regional Communications Center Board of Directors Minutes Held in Chaves County Administrators Building, Sheriff Department Training Room Wednesday, November 2, 2022 Notice of this meeting was given to the public in compliance with section 10-15-1 through 10- 15-4 NMSA 1978 and Resolution 20-26 ROLL CALL Meeting convened at 1:30 p.m. with Chief Matt Miller presiding. Board members present were Mac Rogers as proxy for County Manager Bill Williams, Mike Mathews as proxy for City Manager Joe Neeb, Karen Sanders as proxy for the Roswell Police Chief, and Chief Monty Baker. A sign in sheet was not available for other attendees. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Mike Mathews made a motion to approve the agenda for November 2, 2022; seconded by Chief Baker, and voted in the affirmative unanimously. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Mike Mathews made a motion to approve the minutes from the October 5, 2022; seconded by Chief Baker, and voted in the affirmative unanimously. ACTION ITEMS No action items were presented or discussed. NON-ACTION ITEMS Radio Update – Dave Jones from Code 3 Services gave a presentation relative to the county-wide multicast system and needed programming of field radios. Programming will take place in December. He also gave an update on the present status of the system. Chad Hamill informed the board that radio transmissions cannot be heard in Lake Arthur. PVRCC Operations Report: Alison Herring gave information concerning staffing and PVRCC operations. CHAIR ANNOUNCEMENTS / REPORTS No chair announcement or other reports. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION No public participation. Next meeting is scheduled for December 7, 2022, 1:30 pm in the Sheriff’s Department Training Room ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
