Ms. Childress made the second. The motion passed by a vote of six to zero. MINUTES Mr. Storey made a motion to approve the minutes from the October 28, 2014 meeting. Mr. Gwartney made the second. The motion passed by a vote of six to zero. SWEARING IN Chair Brown swore in the audience and Staff. INFORMATION ITEMS There were no information items. Ms. Childress made a motion to waive the reading of the ‘Land Use and Zoning Considerations’ and ‘Finding of Facts’ for the following case. Mr. Gwartney made the second. Mr. Storey asked if Unit B was included in the designation. Mr. Jaramillo stated Unit B is not a part of the PUD. Mr. Najar stated the residents at the meeting on November 19th agreed to the proposed zonings unanimously. MOTION Mr. Armstrong made a motion to assign an R-1 District designation for Unit A and the Replat of Lots 1-33 of Unit D and an R-3 Designation for Unit C and Lots 34-45 of Unit D in Case 14-38 based on Findings of Facts and Land Use and Zoning Considerations. Mr. Gross made the second. The motion passed by a vote of six to zero. Meeting Dates for 2015 The Commission reviewed the meeting dates presented. MOTION Mr. Gross made a motion to approve the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting dates for 2015 as written. Ms. Childress made the second. The motion passed by a vote of six to zero. Non-Agenda and Public Comments: Mr. Jaramillo stated this would be his last meeting as he would no longer be with the City as of December 2nd. Chair Brown thanked Mr. Jaramillo for his work with the City and Mr. Gross stated he was sorry to see Mr. Jaramillo go. Mr. Gross asked if the flashing signals for the school zone near Washington Avenue and 19th Street had been placed yet. Mr. Najar stated the parts are in and that Staff was in the process of getting locates on utilities and trenching done. He stated he was hopeful the signals would be placed within the next thirty days. Ms. Copeland asked the Commission if they would like to keep the December meeting on the schedule or to cancel the meeting due to the holidays. Chair Brown stated he would prefer to keep it on the schedule in order to be available if anyone should have a case they would like to have heard. The meeting date was changed to December 29th on a Monday so as 2 not to conflict with the Christmas holiday. Mr. Johnson stated there had been one proposal for the Comprehensive Master Plan update which had been submitted by Consensus Planning. He stated a steering committee was being formed to discuss the process. Other Business: There was no other business.
