MINUTES OF THE ACQUISITION COMMITTEE Friday April 17, 2015 REGULAR MEETING AT 4:00 p.m. CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Acquisition Committee Meeting was called to order by Chairman Tom Tutor at 4:00 p.m. ROLL CALL Those present: Tom Tutor De Angela Velasquez, Joyce Tucker, a quorum was established. Staff Coordinator: Michael Hall, Museum Director Staff present: Olga McGuire, Membership, Sara Woodbury Members absent: Miranda Howe, Peggy Krantz PRESIDENT’S REMARKS Tom Tutor Welcomed everyone, Introducing guest, Jeff Jackson reporter from the Roswell Daily Record APPROVAL OF AGENDA Member Joyce Tucker motioned to approve the agenda as presented. Member DeAngela Velasquez was the second. A voice vote was unanimous and the motion passed. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Member DeAngela Velasquez motioned to approve the minutes of the December 15, 2014 meeting. Member Joyce Tucker was the second. A voice vote was unanimous and the motion passed. Discussion and Vote of Object(s) for the RMAC Collections as provided 1. Sara Woodbury, Curator of Collections, presented and discussed paintings by Ted Kuykendall and Billy Schenk, in the RMAC vault to all members present. COMMITTEE VOTE: 1. Member Joyce Tucker commented on presentation recommending leaving decision at Curator of Exhibits discretion. Members Joyce Tucker motioned to bring discussion to Board of Trustee meeting agenda on May 18, 2015. Member DeAngela Velasquez was the second. A voice vote was unanimous and the motion passed. 2. Member DeAngela Velasquez motioned to accept Billy Schenk Painting. Member Tom Tutor was the second. A voice vote was unanimous and the motion passed.  ADJOURNMENT: Member DeAngela Velasquez motioned to adjourn. Member Tom Tutor was the second. A voice vote was unanimous and the motion passed.
