Richardson Ave. Roswell, NM 88201 DRAFT DOCUMENT REGULAR MEETING AT 4:00 p.m. Notice of this meeting was given to the public in compliance with Sections 10-15-1 through 10-15-4, NMSA 1978 and Resolution 22-14. CALL TO ORDER Board Chair Liakos called the meeting of the Board of Trustees to order at 4:02 p.m. B. ROLL CALL The meeting of the Board of Trustees convened with members Cymantha Liakos, Kyle Bayless, Valli West, Lorrina Segovia, Kay Cargill Jenkins and Kate Griffo, being present. A quorum was established with members Tim Hartwick ,Elisa Begueria and Donovan Fulkerson, Pricilla Ornelas, and Anne Baker being absent. City Council members present: Barry Foster, absent. Staff present: Caroline Brooks, Executive Director and Amber Smith, Operation Manager. Community members present: Cindy Torrez, Director RMAC Foundation. ACTION ITEMS C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Member West motioned to approve the agenda. Member Segovia was the second. A voice vote was 6-0 and the motion passed with members Foster, Baker, Hartwick, Griffo, Begueria and Hartwick being absent. D. APPROVAL OF February 28, 2022 MINUTES Member West motioned to approve the minutes for the February 28, 2022 meeting. Member Segovia was the second. A voice vote was 6-0 and the motion passed with members Foster, Baker, Hartwick, Griffo, Begueria and Hartwick being absent. INFORMATION ONLY ITEMS E. Director’s Report Director Brooks noted that visitation in February was higher than the past few years. The museum is seeing an increase in school field trips as COVID restriction are being lifted. Director Brooks noted the PGA gallery lights are being addressed and work on them is estimated to start in mid-April/May. The city council passed the rocket sculpture and the group has done site visits. FOR THE RECORD: Member Baker arrived at 4:08 p.m. FOR THE RECORD: Member Hartwick arrived at 4:10 p.m. F. RMAC Foundation Report RMAC Foundation Director Cindy Torrez recapped their fundraising events planning for 2022. The foundation is planning on having an event on September 17th and the tickets are selling for $150. The goal is to have 300 people attend. The event will have a live auction and for the event to be white attire. G. Chair’s Remarks and Board Announcements Baker mentions May 7th is the Jazz festival from 4-7pm at the Anderson Museum. H.
