Please note: State law (RCW 42.17A.555) prohibits the use of facilities of a public office, including City Hall, to support or oppose a ballot measure or an election campaign for public office. 4) EXECUTIVE SESSION: Per RCW 42.56.110(1)(i), to discuss with legal counsel legal or financial risks of a proposed action. 5) ORDINANCES: a) Ordinance 1013-A (Original version of the Ordinance) AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROY, PIERCE COUNTY, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE 2024 BUDGET AND SALARY SCHEDULE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PUBLICATION; AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. This is the 4th Reading of this Ordinance. Ordinance 1013-B: Per Councilmember Stark’s request at the meeting on 12/11/2023, a Version B of this Ordinance that does 10787769.1 - 370717 - 0001  the following has also been included in the packet. This Version does the following: (1) creates two-line items for legal costs; (2) adds an additional $100 in estimated income from animal licensing fees; and (3) reduces the City’s contribution to medical insurance coverage for the dependents of employees to 50% from the current subsidy of 100%. 1.
