Tuesday, January 20 (Adjusted for MLK Day
Monday, February 16

Tuesday, December 15 (The City Commission will likely move their meeting up a week
for Christmas.)
Staff requests the Commission for the Arts to discuss the above meeting dates. No action needs
to be taken in October. At this time, we are just sharing the dates for your review.
Respectfully submitted,

Members of the Commission for the Arts:
Staff is working with the Royal Oak Civic Foundation on the grant related to the Youth Artist
Laureate program.
We plan to open the application process on October 23rd and let it run through November 20th.
The winner will be selected at the December meeting; we would process contracts in January.
We will finalize the deliverables in the contract and specify the completion time there.
Respectfully submitted,
Susan Barkman
