The current cost and maintenance requirements of a soft serve machine are currently not feasible. LED Lighting Upgrade · Patrick taking an action to reach out to the contract company for additional information on costs associated with making the upgrade to LED lights in Hangars. Civil Air Patrol Airfest: · CAP Recruiting Event o Fly-in spectators o Fly-by demonstrations o Formation Flying (RV Group Bulldogs) o Jets o Turbo Prop o Hot Dogs & Hamburgers o Open to the Public o Looking for Donations from the Community New Business: Charity Plane Ride Event: · Seeking Commercial Pilots · Seeking Planes for Commercial Pilots to fly for Charity donations · Seeking Donations of Fuel for Planes used in Charity Flights · Potential to pair this event with the annual Trunk or Treat Event o *Update* Patrick wants to keep it 9/21/24 · Actions needed: o Can the City of Russellville endorse a specific charity? o Create Inclement Weather Plan o Advertise no later than 90 days out o Talk to Pilots to ensure amount of time and rides that can be supported § Create QR Code/Sign up to organize flight schedule · Include weight/balance info to ensure smooth operations May 2024 KRUE Commission Meeting Minutes On Field Maintenance Facility: · Mechanic Eli Kenman · Lease has been signed · Work has already commenced and he is accepting new customers Land Leased Hangar Proposal: · Potential for a 40-50 year lease at fair market value · Potential to negotiate land lease extension with old leases at New Rates. · New Leases include a Right of First Refusal by the airport (ROFR) Request for Additional Lighting: · Request for additional lighting at the self-service station Miscellaneous: · June meeting rescheduled – Proposed date WEDNESDAY June 12th Open Action Items (Owner – Action – Due Date): 1. Patrick – Contact Entergy/Contractors regarding Hangar light upgrade to LED lighting – Due by June meeting 2. Patrick – Find out if a light can be added to the existing pole by the self-service station – Due by June meeting 3. Patrick – Work with City Council to establish what charities we can support with Charity Flight Event – Due by July meeting - *Update* Action Complete 4.
