Runway Remarking & Apron Reconstruction Phase I Design Only – FY 23 Project  FAA is processing the amendment for the additional runway hold position marking replacement. Once the amendment letter is issued, the City can make the final drawdown and apply for a state match grant. 2. Apron Reconstruction Phase I Construction – FY 24 Project  Awaiting FAA to issue the companion grant applications. Working on Change Order 1 to replace the aircraft tie down cables with tie down anchors and T markings. 3. Taxiway Bravo Connection  Construction began Monday, August 19th to construct the missing portion of Taxiway Bravo. Estimated completion date is September 28th. 4. Taxiway Rehabilitation  This project will include pavement edge grading, crack seal, seal coat, and new markings on Taxiway Alpha and associated connectors.  The low bid totaled approximately $54,000 below budget; therefore, we put together a change order in the amount of $53,850. This change order will add the portion of Taxiway Bravo west of the terminal apron, the portions of the terminal apron that will not be included in Phases I or II of the FAA apron reconstruction projects, and the taxilane for Hangar 10 East.  The low bid and change order have been submitted for approval by the City. We estimate construction will start sometime in October. July 2024 KRUE Commission Meeting Minutes Updates on Old Business KRUE Project Update (See attachment from McClelland): Electronic Monitoring System for Air Traffic:  System has been approved by City – Cost of $1900.00 o Estimated to be installed by end of September 2024 o Trial period, satisfaction guaranteed o Radar system to track aircraft without ADS-B would cost extra (not currently approved) River Valley Rally 9/21/24 from 9am-7pm:  Charity Flight Event o Light Concessions o Live Music o Open to the Public o Tickets for sale day of event - $25-$50 o Pancake breakfast for pilots at 7am. o Pick up flyers from Patrick – please help distribute  Donations made to Arkansas Flight Safety Cooperative o Benefiting two Charities in the River Valley  River Valley Food 4 Kids  Joseph’s House of Russellville  Actions needed: o Aircraft for Static Display – These will be actively monitored. The public will not be allowed to climb on or touch aircraft without your permission. o Pilots!  Only requirement is 500+ logged hours. o Can we get a photographer from the paper? New Business: Trunk or Treat  Event team meets Mondays at 5pm.  Collecting Donations/Sponsorships from local businesses to buy candy. o A banner will be purchased to feature logos of sponsors  This will be a drive-thru event, with expansions from previous year.
