BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MINUTES April 27, 2015 The Russellville Board of Adjustment met in its Regular Meeting, Monday, April 27, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. in the Russellville, Arkansas City Hall Council Chambers. Members Present: Chairman Blake Tarpley, Secretary Wesley White, and Member Jim Sims Members Absent: Member Mike Wilkins and Vice-Chair Eric Westcott Visitors Present: Mayor Randy Horton, Alderman Bill Eaton, City Planner David Harris, City Attorney Trey Smith, Planning Assistant Lequitta Jones, Building Official Brian Holstein, Lindsay Cochran, and John H. Hawkins Welcome The First Order of Business was to elect the 2015 Officers. Member Sims made the motion to elect; Blake Tarpley, Chairman; Eric Westcott, Vice Chairman; and Wesley White, Secretary. The motion was seconded by Wesley White and passed unanimously. The Second Order of Business was a request to review and approve the minutes of the March 2, 2015 meeting. Note: (February Meeting). Member Sims made the motion to approve the minutes as written. The motion was seconded by Member White and passed unanimously. The Third Order of Business was a Public Hearing requesting review and approval of one-foot variance from the required R-3 zone 20-foot front yard setback, to allow a 19-foot front yard setback, of property at 800 West E Street. Submitted by John A. & Lindsay Cochran. (BOA-15.04.3612) City Planner Harris said this is a straightforward request. There is a vacant lot to the west and then a house that looks closer to the street by a couple feet than the proposed porch will be. Mr. Harris said he didn’t have an issue with this.
