Old Business Civil Service Commission  None Police Department  Chief Humphrey stated that one officer Arlen Holmes had been had been reinstated in January. Fire Department  None NEW BUSINESS Civil Service Commission  None. Police Department  Jeff Humphreys asked that he commission announce entry test and promotion. A Captain is retiring in March and a Lieutenant is leaving. Bert agreed but wants Jeff to confirm all requirements in the announcement. Fire Department Promotional Test. Per Chief Cochran’s request, the Commission set a date this year for promotional tests for Firefighter/Driver, Captain, and Battalion Chief for the month of May with the written phase of tests for Saturday, May 7, 2016. The assessment center and oral interview phase of the testing process will be scheduled sometime prior to the month of May. In addition, Chief Cochran noted there may be a need for the Commission to announce a date for entry level before the regular fall date due to anticipated retirements by eligible members.
