CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES February 26, 2019 Central Fire Station, El Paso Avenue, Russellville Commissioners: City/Department Representatives: Phillip Lea, Chairman, Present Trey Smith, City Attorney Toni Bachman, Present Jeff Humphrey, Police Chief Bert Fleck, Present Kirk Slone, Fire Chief Jim Horton, Present Brent Hamm, Battalion Chief Jason Ramsey, Present Tanessa Vaughn, Human Resources Ray Watkins, Absent Ruben Camacho, Present  Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.  The Commission reviewed the minutes of the January 2019 meeting. There was a motion, second and the Commission approved the minutes of the previous meeting. Chairman Report – The Commission welcomed new Commissioner Ruben Camacho. Fire Department Report – Battalion Chief, Brent Hamm expressed the need for entry-level testing. Police Department Report –Police Chief, Jeff Humphrey expressed the need to schedule entry-level and promotional testing for April and May. OLD BUSINESS None NEW BUSINESS Civil Service Commission The following dates were set for Fire and Police Department Testing: April 6, 0800: Police entry-level physical agility test. Written to follow April 13, 0800: Police entry-level oral interviews May 4, 0800: Fire entry-level physical agility test. Written to follow May 11, 0800: Fire entry-level interview May 13, 0800: Police promotional written test for Captain and Lieutenant May 17, 0900: Police promotional assessments for Captain and Lieutenant
