CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES February 25, 2020 Central Fire Station, El Paso Avenue, Russellville Commissioners: Phillip Lea, Chairman Present Toni Bachman Present Ruben Camacho Present Bert Fleck Present Jim Horton Absent Mark Lykins Present Ray Watkins Present City/Department Representatives Attending: David Ewing, Captain Carey James, Captain J. J. Smith, Captain Brent Hamm, Battalion Chief Phyllis Carruth, Councilwoman  Phillip Lea called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM.  The Commission reviewed the minutes of October 22, 2019 meeting. Bert Fleck moved and Mark Lykins seconded that the minutes be approved. Commission approved the minutes.  The Commission reviewed the minutes of January 28, 2019 meeting. Toni Bachman moved and Ruben Camacho seconded that the minutes be approved. Commission approved the minutes. OLD BUSINESS  None NEW BUSINESS Police  Police Sergeant promotional testing for May 2 was discussed.  The Commission moved and approved going into executive session in order to review February 19, 2020 list of Police new hires. The list was reviewed with representatives of Russellville PD. Upon exiting executive session, the list was edited. Fire  Promotional testing for Fire Chiefs is scheduled for May 2. Meeting adjourned at 5:55 PM.
