RUSSELLVILLE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MINUTES March 21 2022, 5:00 p.m., Police Station, Russellville and Online via Google Meets Commissioners: City/Department Representatives: Phillip Lea, Chairman Present Trey Smith, City Attorney, Absent Toni Bachman, Present David Ewing, Police Chief, Present Jon Brown, Absent Kirk Slone, Fire Chief, Absent Ruben Camacho, Absent Brent Moix, Battalion Chief, Present Bert Fleck, Present Chris Vick, Battalion Chief, Present Barbara Horton, Present Tanessa Vaughn, Human Resources, Absent Mark Lykins, Present Meeting Minutes Fleck moved and Bachman seconded the approval of minutes of 22, 2022. The Commission approved the minutes. NEW BUSINESS  Reviewed dates April 27, May 4 and May 5 for promotional testing.  Chief Moix and Chief Vick proposed the hiring of certified firefighter Zachary Babbitt. Bachman moved and Horton seconded motion to allow hiring Babbitt per Civil Service Commission Rules and Regulations, Chapter 3, part IV, Suspension of Competition. The Commission approved the motion.  Chief Ewing proposed the hiring of certified officer Quentin Lewis. Fleck moved and Lykins seconded motion to allow hiring Lewis per Civil Service Commission Rules and Regulations, Chapter 3, part IV, Suspension of Competition. The Commission approved the motion. At 5:20 p.m. meeting adjourned.
