RUSSELLVILLE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MINUTES May 23, 2023, 5:00 p.m., Central Fire Station, Russellville and Online via Google Meets Commissioners: City/Department Representatives: Mark Lykins, Chairman Present Trey Smith, City Attorney, Present Toni Bachman, Present David Ewing, Police Chief, Present Jon Brown, Present Kirk Slone, Fire Chief, Absent Ruben Camacho, Present Brent Moix, Battalion Chief, Present Barbara Horton, Absent Tanessa Vaughn, Human Resources, Absent Phillip Lea, Present Jason Ramsey, Present Meeting Minutes Bachman moved and Brown seconded a motion to approve minutes of April 18, 2023 as presented. The Commission approved the minutes. Business  New hire written test for Russellville Police Department will occur on Thursday June 8th at 8am at the police department. Mark Lykins and Tony Bachman will administer the test.  Physical Agility Testing for new hire police officers as well as interviews will be conducted on June 10th. PAT test at the police training range at 8AM. Interviews to follow at approximately 9:30AM.  Chief David Ewing of the Russellville Police Department reported that the police department will conduct the interview panels for promotional lists for lieutenant and captain positions on Tuesday June 13th beginning at 8:30am. Jon Brown and Mark Lykins are available.  Online testing for new applicants was discussed. Making sure that the process is secure so that it is fair for every candidate. Chairman Lykins will check on the testing process with the testing company.  Report on the new online promotional testing for Captain and Lieutenant. The test was well received by commissioners Brown and Lykins.
