Discuss (Bids) – Phase I of the Beautification Project – Mike Roys New Business 1. Discuss items not on the agenda. 2. Prepare items for handoff to City Council for their December 20, 2012 meeting. Next Meeting – Tuesday, January 8, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Russellville City Hall, 203 South Commerce.  Cemetery Commission Minutes December 11, 2012 The Russellville Oakland Cemetery Commission met on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at 4:00 p.m., in the City Hall 2nd-Floor Conference Room at 203 South Commerce, Russellville, Arkansas. Attending were Chairman Mike Roys, Commissioner Bill Vaughn, Commissioner Patricia Petray, Chaplain Northcutt, Mayor Bill Eaton, City Attorney Trey Smith, Finance Director Jerry McKaughan, and City Planner David Harris and Garland Steuber. Absent were: Commissioner Fields, Bill Harmon, Secretary Eubanks and Lequitta A Jones. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Mike Roys at 4:00 p.m. Old Business: The First Order of Business was to review and approve minutes of the November 6, 2012 Cemetery Regular Meeting. The minutes were approved as written. The Second Order of Business was Financial Report given by Finance Director Jerry McKaughan reported all was in order. Mr. McKaughan reported that we were not selling lots at this time. The Third Order of Business update on the letter sent to the Arkansas Securities Department City Attorney Trey Smith related what he found out from attending the quarterly meeting of the Arkansas Cemetery Board and talked with Ms. Tierney, including... • Some requirements will be waived • Examiner is looking over our packet • Trey has been collecting deeds/1948 survey/other records • Jerry has been helping • No liens on property Mr. McKaughan asked why not send part of the $500.00 to the city to help cover maintenance expenses? No action was taken.
