Council Meeting

Regular Council Meeting February 10, 2025 Mayor Stan Townsend called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In attendance were Darwin Sietsema, Brian Baartman, and Stu Peterson. Also in attendance were Darrin Haroldson and Rochelle VanderWoude. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all those in attendance. Minutes of the January meeting were approved by M/Peterson 2/Baartman/cd unanimously. Wastewater Supervisor, Darrin Haroldson gave the council his report for the month of January and answered the council’s questions. The January bills were presented and approved by M/Baartman 2/Sietsema/cd unanimously. RECEIPTS = $19,482.37 DISBURSEMENTS = $17,812.90 Resolution 2025-03; Resolution Supporting the Request for State Bonding for Infrastructure Improvements was approved by M/Baartman 2/Sietsema/cd unanimously. The Good Neighbor Agreement with Box Car Wind Project was tabled until next month to obtain more information. The meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m. Rochelle VanderWoude Ruthton City Clerk/Treasurer
